Pre-school nurtures children’s minds and bodies
I designed a logo for a preschool in Japan. “Kokokara” is an abbreviation of heart(kokoro) and body(karada) but also means “From here” in Japanese. I combined these two shapes to simply explain the meaning and the body icon is pointing at the heart to express “here”.
ココカラ(ココロとカラダ)は体操やダンスなどの運動と、読み聴かせやエプロンシアターなどリラックスさせ気持ちを落ち着かせるという活動を組み合わせた未就園児教室です。 シンプルなアイコンを組み合わせ言葉の響きを表現しながら、カラダアイコンが「ここから」というもうひとつの意味も暗示させています。
